MARCO TEÓRICO

Para empezar hablar de una presencia de calcio y magnesio en una muestra de agua debemos tener claro primero los siguientes conceptos:
Potencial dehidrógeno (pH):

Se define como el logaritmo negativo de la concentración del ión hidrógeno en una solución acuosa o el logaritmo del recíproco de la concentración de iones hidrógeno. El valor del pH es la acidez o alcalinidad de una sustancia expresada en términos de la relación entre la fuerza electromotriz (E) expresada en volts, entre un electrodo de vidrio y uno de referencia cuando se sumergenen el agua, y la fuerza electromotriz (Es) expresada en volts, entre los mismos electrodos cuando se sumergen en una solución reguladora de referencia.
