Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development, providing a person with insight into the true nature of life. Buddhist practices, such as meditation, serve as the means of changing oneself, in order to develop the qualities of awareness, kindness, and wisdom. Buddhism is not about teaching or learning, but about experiencing.
The founder of this religion wasSiddhartha Gautama, who is commonly known as the Buddha, he was the Indian prince
Two major branches of Buddhism are: Theravada ( “the school of the elders”) and Mahayana ( “the great vehicle”)
Buddhism is main practice in China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia

The Holy scripture is the Tripataka.
The basic teachings of Buddhism are called the Four Nobel Truths. The first truth isLife means suffering. To live means to suffer, because the human nature is not perfect and neither is the world we live in. The second truth is the origin of suffering is attachment. This means that we suffer because of desire for possessions. The third truth is the cessation of suffering is attainable. This states that is people no longer desire for possessions, the suffering will stop. They canthen achieve a state of nirvana, or a state of happiness and peace.
The fourth truth is the path to the cessation of suffering. This truth states that people can escape suffering by following the Middle Way, or a set of guidelines called the Eightfold Path.
There are over 360 million followers of Buddhism in the world. Even though they follow different forms of Buddhism
Buddhists gather tohonor The Buddha, to teach and to hear his wisdom in a temple, A Buddhist temple is called Vihara and is a place for education. In a temple, you will find a shrine room with a large Buddha and statues of his disciples.You will also find relics and manuscripts. There is also a lecture room, meditation room and a library.

Lord Buddha was not very comfortable with accepting images of himself. This is because He never wanted to be respected as a person, but be known for His principles and His teachings. Still, the following symbols of Buddhism are used to signify LordBuddha.

Muslim, Islam
Islam is the second most popular religion in the world with over a thousand million followers. It is more often thought of as a complete way of life rather than a religion.
Islam began in Arabia and was revealed to humanity by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Those who follow Islam are called Muslims. Muslims believe that there is only one God, called Allah.
Islamis mainly followed in the Middle East, Asia, and the north of Africa.

Place of Origin : Saudi Arabia
Founder : Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam.
Holy Scripture : The Qur'an
Holy Places : Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem
The prophet Muhammad, who was born in AD. 570 at Mecca, in Saudi Arabia, is often regarded as the founder of Islam.

Muslims have 6 main beliefs:* Belief in Allah as the one and only God.
* Belief in angels.
* Belief in the holy books.
* Belief in the Prophets (special messengers).
* Belief in the Day of Judgement.
-The day when the life of every human being will be assessed to decide whether they go to heaven or hell.

* Belief in Predestination.
-That Allah has already decided what will happen, Muslimsbelieve that this doesn't stop human beings making free choices
The Muslim building for communal worship is called a mosque. Muslims often refer to the mosque by its Arabic name, masjid. The word comes from the Arabic for "place of prostration".
There are no pictures or statues in a mosque. They are decorated with patterns and words from the Qur'an. There is also very little furniture inside...
