Main characters
Jane Eyre is the main character of the story. She was from a poor family. Her parents die when she was a baby and then she lived with her aunt. Janewas strong and brave, despite the problems that she faced.
Helen Burns was Jane’s best friend because she was the only girls who helped and trust Jane in a difficult moment. Unfortunately Helen dieddue to the typhoid fever.
Mrs. Reed was Jane’s aunt. She was unkind to Jane and she sent her niece to Lowood School because she didn’t want her to live together with her children.
Mr. Rochester was arich and important man who fell in love with Jane and eventually they got married. He was kind to her although he kept a secret.
Jane’s life
Jane’s life was difficult and unstable because herparents die, then she went to live with her aunt Mrs. Reed.
In Mrs. Reed´s house Jane wasn’t welcomed. Her aunt and cousins didn´t accept her as a part of their family. They considered her an intruder soMrs. Reed sent her to a Lowood School.
In Lowood School Mr. Brockleshurst who was the director, was strict and authoritarian. He had bad references about Jane from her aunt, so she had to behaveaccording to the rules, otherwise she was punished. The only affect that she found was from her best friend Helen Burns.
She left school when she was eighteen years old as a teacher.
She was hired inThornfield house as Adèle governess. There she met Mr. Rochester and then fell in love one and other. They planned their wedding, but it was interrupted because he was already married, so she left. Thenshe returned and work as a teacher. Finally she reencounter with Mr. Rochester who had an accident. She stayed with him and had a son.
Jane was a strong girl because despite the problems that sheconfronted, she went ahead with her life. Her attitude helped her to overcome every difficulty as her failed wedding and the effects that it had in her life.
