Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wilde3 Wills (born October 16, 1854, in Dublin, Ireland, 3 then belonging to the UK1 - died on November 30, 1900, in Paris, France) was a writer, Irish poetand playwright. Wilde is considered one of the most successful playwrights of late Victorian London, moreover, was a celebrity of the time due to its large and sharp wit. Today, he is remembered for hisepigrams, plays and the tragedy of his imprisonment, followed by his early death. Son of successful intellectuals in Dublin, showed his intelligence from an early age to become fluent in French andGerman. At Oxford he studied in the course of classics, called Greats, n. 2 gave evidence of being a leading classicist, first in Dublin and then at Oxford, 5 guided by two of his mentors, Walter Paterand John Ruskin, became known for his involvement in the growing philosophy of aestheticism. Also explored deeply the religion to Catholicism who became his deathbed-.6 After a stint in theuniversity moved to London, where he moved in the cultural and social circles moda.7
