Installing Multiple Patches on One Server
Open up a web browser and type http://patchlink.us.schp.com/ in the address line.
You will receive a login in box forPatchlink.

Login using your US Id.

You will receive the following home page after logging in.
Click on DEVICES

In the search box type the server name.

Theserver will be displayed as shown above. Click on the box to the left of the server name. It will highlight the server. Now click DEPLOY.

The Deploy Wizard will pop up in a separate window.Click NEXT

Confirm that number of servers selected is correct. This is very important……
Click NEXT

Click on MICROSOFT CORP. and click NEXT

Now find the patchesthat you wish to deploy to and click on the box to the left of the patch. It will put a check mark in the box and highlight that line.
Then click NEXT

You must accept the terms. And thenclick NEXT

You must select the following
• AGENT UTC TIME (Deploy at UTC time for each individual node)
After you select the Agent UTC Time, then click the CHANGE button to changethe time.

Now change the Date and Time that you wish to have the patches deployed…
Keep in mind that Agent UTC Time is GMT – 5 for Kenilworth
and GMT -4 for Memphis…..
DaylightSavings time is a factor… When it changes back it will change the GMT -#
The Patchlink server is located in Memphis which is one hour behind New Jersey.
Click NEXT

Verify that time anddate is correct!!!!!!
Click NEXT

This screen will show you the patches you selected…
Currently the last chained patch will automatically be set to reboot…. [pic]
WE DO NOT WANTTHIS!!!!!!

You will have to edit the last chained patch.
[pic]
To edit… click on the EDIT button
[pic]
Now look for Suppress Chained Reboot and click the box as shown below
