The Excel Spreadsheet / Calc can be a powerful tool to create learning environmentsthat enrich the representation (modeling), understanding and problem solving in the area of statistics and probability. Excel provides features that go beyond the tabulation, calculation formulas and graphing data:

* In descriptive statistics represents all types of graphics and calculates the mean, mode, median, route, variance and standard deviation.
* In two-dimensional statisticrepresents the point cloud and the regression line. Calculate the center of gravity, the marginal deviations, covariance, correlation coefficient, regression line and look for targets.
