III. A Brief Historical Outline

As Vladimir Putin say in 2005 "Whoever does not miss the Soviet Union has no heart. Whoever wants it back has no brain. “And certainly Putin is correct in his assumption. Contrary to the ideals of power to the proletarian and redistribution of richness upon which the USSR was founded. Since the beginning the soviet people were living into a repressive statethat does not give the minimum liberty and facilities for the down working classes, life inside Soviet Union was imperative. Social problems in all levels of soviet society and the lack of long term solutions to this provoke growing disconformities in all soviet republics later independent.
After experiencing a period of sustained economic growth in the decade of the 50s and 60s the USSR began toshown signs of weakness in his whole structure. Since 1970´s decade soviet model in opposition to western block was declining in two particular aspects: economic and political stability. In the economic aspect just to mention some difficulties was dealing with: low competitiveness of industrial sector products oriented to the internal market but increasingly difficult to compete with importedproduction, lack of incentives for productivity, stagnation of agriculture and zero economic growth, just to name a few. These severe problems degrade life quality of the soviet people in the last decade of existence of USSR.
The political arena was not better than the economic; recipe of centralized decision-making is not the best to deal with crises within a state, rulers misinformed by adysfunctional bureaucracy make the necessary reforms hard to achieve effectively, after Josef Stalin death the USSR had six leaders all with relatively short mandates, each one deal with different government challenges, was necessary reforms that never come into practice, governmental ineffectiveness appear as result of problems in the political structure such as: corruption in general, lack of reforms, restricted access to information in all levels, isolation between sectors administrative sectors. A nation on this situation can no longer endure, the conflagration of the aforementioned political and economic problems in a period of least than ten years led to the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991.

Brazil
When we came to talk about the relation between Brazil and Soviet Union, andthe later fall of the Soviet Union, we can part from the idea of Jeffrey W. Rubin in his article “The Roots of Brazil's Success” about Brazil’s growth as new power, where he says:
“Brazil's transition was shaped from the get-go, even while the military still held power, by the emergency of a new political party, the Workers Party (PT). Significantly, the PT defined itself as a radical leftistparty but squarely rejected the Leninism and vanguardism of the Soviet Union and Cuba. Since its inception, the PT has emphasized democratic procedures - debate followed by voting - in its internal affairs and municipal policies, as well as in Brazil's multi-level electoral arena.”
Basically the main the influence that the communism or Leninism or the Soviet Union had over Brazil was the recognitionof the ideas but not the blind implementation of them, as happened in the nations that incorporated the Soviet Union. As the article told us the influence their ideas over the political parties in Brazil were not the main element to their appearance and development as political powers. Nonetheless, the recent relations between Russia and Brazil have seen a significant improvement in past fewyears, characterized by an increasing commercial trade and cooperation in military and technology segments. Nowadays, Brazil shares an important alliance with the Russian Federation, with partnerships in areas such as space and military technologies, and telecommunications. Although does not have the same influence and outreach as U.S. or E.U. what we just said are factors that helped Brazil to be a...
