Steven Paul Jobs

Steven Paul Jobs (San Francisco, California, February 24, 1955 - Palo Alto, California, October 5, 2011), August 9, 10 better known as Steve Jobs, was an entrepreneur and business mogul and thecomputer industry U.S. entertainment industry. He was cofounder and chief executive of Apple Inc.11 and maximum individual shareholder, The Walt Disney Company.12
He founded Apple in 1976 along with aboyhood friend, Steve Wozniak, in the garage of his home. Boosted by the success of its Apple II Jobs gained a high public profile, with cover of Time in 1981. Had 26 years old and already a millionairethanks to the successful flotation of the company late last year. The 80's marked the entry of strong competitors in the personal computer market, which led to the first business difficulties. Hisreaction was to innovate: in early 1984 the company launched the Macintosh 128K, which was the first personal computer that is successfully marketed using a graphical user interface (GUI) and mouseinstead of the command line. After having problems with the leadership of the company he founded, was fired from Apple Computer in 1985. Jobs then sold all its shares, except one. That same year hereceived the National Medal of Technology by President Ronald Reagan, closing this early stage this recognition as an entrepreneur.
