This is about getting healthy, about being fit overall. This is about looking better below the neck. I can’t help you with the rest, sorry about that. Blame your parents. If you’re skinny/average/fat, male/female, the following will tell you how to have a healthier and more attractive looking body.

This may or may not beapplicable to you if you are 1000lbs, crippled, have some weird condition or disease, or come from /soc/. I’ll just optimistically trust you to not be all retarded.

This is a definitive guide, and is everything you need to know acquire a good physique. Fitness is a breeding ground for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and believe it or not, most things you place great value on tend to make little tono difference. This guide covers all topics that are relevant and need-to-know. Anything outside of this guide is probably useless to know.

This starts by covering the two single most important factors by far - Diet and Exercise, followed by smaller but still important factors like supplements, and closes off with a FAQ. The first two sections assume no prior knowledge, but they also explain theessential concepts; unless you are already fairly advanced, READ THESE. The FAQ at the end covers most preconceptions you might have. It directly adresses commonly ascept questions, misconceptions and myths. It is NOT for the advanced guys, but it should serve as a handy reference to those (especially the citations). The advanced can also use this to condense all relevant information in theirhead due to all of the information they have been exposed to, which is annoying.
Either way, check the Table of Contents right at the beginning for an overview.

For the ultra TL;DR version, you can fast forward to the DIET TL;DR and the Routines sections (both of them); that will cover the basics in ~10 lines, but a lot of time was spenton this to help YOU so I recommend reading it through, and it won't even take long.

But let me make two things clear:

Persistence. You need this. You don’t have to stick to the following 100% of the time; but 95% of the time, you have to. If you follow this advice only some of the time, you will only get some of the results, and I don’t know which. In the end, the wrong thing doneconsistently often times nets more results than the right thing done sparingly. Pick something and stick to it, and start right today. NO EXCUSES.
Patience. This takes time. You can lose about 1, 2lbs of fat a week, or alternatively build up to .5lbs of muscle as a male, less as a girl. So what? In a year, you’ll look way better than you do now, and in 3, you’ll look pretty damn exceptional, if youdo all of this well. Time is your friend, or rather, the past is your guide and the future is your hope.

What do and can we achieve? How do we manage to get healthier, and sexier? Well, there two universal major points, and some minor ones again:

Muscle maintenance or buildup. You want this. Muscle is the "firm" part of you. Steroid abusers have gotten gaining muscle mass a bad rep, butas long as you stay away from these, you will never look "too big" or "bulky", no matter how much muscle you put on. You will just look more athletic, more active, more defined, healthier, and manlier (if you’re male)/womanlier (if you are female). Humans are hard wired to appreciate athletic bodies, of both genders. Muscle mass and strength also makes you less injury prone, makes daily physicalactivities easier, and helps prevent many conditions of day to day life, such as obesity, metabolic syndrome, and many of the negative effects of aging.[1] [2] If yo
