Physiology

Habitat: Marshes, swamps, river mouths of rivers and, specially, humid zones of the interior, as slowrivers, lakes, enclosed puddle and temporary pools.
Supply: When the crocodile is young they capture insects; on fish and mollusks having come to adults; and, from 3 m of length, they dare to huntvertebrate of major size. Reproduction: The crocodile puts 15 to 80 eggs (normally from 20 to 50), which incubate during 12 ó 13 weeks. 12 do not reach the sexual maturity up to passed ó 15 years.Relation with the man
The crocodiles can attack the man if they approach too much, the most dangerous is the marine crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), followed by that of the Nile (Crocodylus niloticus)....
