Introduction
Saint Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day is a saints day commemorating Saint Valentine on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other. Every February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts areexchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine.
You can do, give and make many things for your couple, here are some:
1.- Go whit your couple to a very pretty restaurant
2.- Make a letter whit all your heard
3.- Give to her a really special day
If you don’t have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, don’t worry at any rate you can have a lovely day, you can stay whit yourparents, cousins, friends, etc.

Valentine was a holy priest in Rome He was apprehended,
and sent by the emperor to the prefect of Rome, who, on finding all his promises
to make him renounce his faith in effectual, commended him to be beaten with
clubs, and afterwards, to be beheaded,which was executed on February 14.
2. Were there many St. Valentines? Who were they?
Yes, There were many Christian Saint's called Valentines. The Saints honored on February 14th are actually two: St. Valentine of Rome who died about AD 269, and St. Valentine of Terni who died a few years earlier, around AD 200. None of them had anything romantic in their history though.

5. How did Valentine's Day become the widespread and commercialized celebration that it is today?
In the United Kingdom during the 17th century, the celebration of Valentine's Day became widespread. In the 18th century, it was common for friends and lovers to exchange love notes written by hand. At the end of this century,printed cards started to replace these letters. In this period, Americans also adopted the tradition and in the 1840s, Esther A. Howland started to sell the first mass-produced Valentine's day cards.
Currently, according to 'The Greeting Card Association', a billion Valentines are sent every year.
6. How do people celebrate Saint Valentine´s day in other countries?
ARGENTINA
On 14thFebruary in Argentina and Chile they celebrate the 'Day of those in love', a day in which partners (casual, engaged or married) celebrate love and their union with one another. In Argentina they also celebrate the Day of Spring and the Student. On this day it is customary to exchange cards, flowers, chocolates and teddy bears. This date marks the beginning of the season of Spring.
