Case 1
Soil fertilization is necessary for plants to provide the nutrients they need, so farmers thought that the greater theamount of fertilizer they used, the bigger plants would grow. They carried out an experiment using 3 plants. They added 59 grams of fertilizer to the first one, 100 grams to the second, and 150 gramsto the third. Once the plants started to grow, they registered the data and found that they were right about their proposal.
