Why Are The Theories In The Human And Natural Sciences So Convincing?
All that we know is based in theories. These theories are proposed by human and natural sciences.
Natural sciences study thephysical and natural aspects of the world. These sciences are supported by the scientific method and logical reasoning.
On the other hand the human sciences study the world for the human aspects liketheir ways of surviving, their culture and their different groups of people.
These sciences are based on different ways of learning, for example, natural sciences use the scientific method, and theyhave several evidences to verify that what they are saying is true. And human sciences use the perception and they apply what they think that is the most logical that could have happen. But theygenerally have more than only one theory for the same theme. For example there is more than only one theory for the Chilean discovery. We will always find differences among history books because there isalways more than one theory for each discovery.
Nowadays we are verifying some old theories that we had believed for decades. And some of them are wrong like for example years ago we believed that theearth was the center of the galaxy but now we know that the sun is the center of it. Many years ago we believed that the earth was square and flat until someone questions this theory and they startedto study more about it and that way we can know now that the earth is like a sphere. Or this is what we believe know, what happen if someone questions this? Everything would change. So why do we stillfeel so convinced that what sciences tell us is true?
What make us believe that much in these sciences is the information and investigations that scientists have done and that all that the sciencespropose is massive.
Human and natural sciences have a lot of information and they count on many documents that we can’t afford so we know that scientist know a lot more than what we do. And...
