B. Who is the author and / or who wrote the screenplay?
• Director: Kevin Tancharoen, Screenplay:Allison Burnett


C. Setting
a) Place - New York City, New York Performing Arts High School. Action can be contemporary.
b) Time – Actual time.
c) Weather conditions - Allthe seasons.
d) Social conditions - They are High School students and they use casual clothes all year.
e) Mood - It’s changing from the beginning to the end. At the beginning istense and stressful because students are auditioning to be accepted. Each character shows their individual moods according to their personal situation. At the end of the movie we see that the studentswere able to achieve their goals and fulfill their expectations. Most of them did graduate. They feel joy, happiness, and they succeeded.


D. Theme - The main theme of the movie is the dream toachieve your dreams, but each character has a different though and that changes the theme, fitting on each one’s expectations.


E. Point of view - The point of view is the stream ofconsciousness, through the movie you can see the reactions and emotions of each character.


F. Summary of the plot
a) Introduction - The introduction is when they go to the interview to show theirtalents and tries to convince the teachers that they are talented and they have to be admitted on the New York Performing Arts High School.
b) Rising action - This part of the film dependson each character. In the case of Jenny, she cannot take control of their emotions. Mark is interested in Jenny. Kevin has trouble showing the most potential; given this problem the dance teacher...
