Se usa solo para indicar que una acción, una actividad o una costumbre se desarrolla de manera cotidiana y usual hasta el momento.

PRESENTE CONTINUO
Indica que una acción se está ejecutando en el momento de actuar o hablar. La estructura de estetiempo queda formada con el verbo BE como auxiliar y el participio presente de el verbo (Terminación ING) principal de la oración.
EJEMPLOS:
I am doing a good business
I am not doing a good businessam I doing a good business?
Yes I am, No I am not
She is going to the meeting
She isn’t going to the meetings
She going to the meeting?
Yes she is, No she isn`t

TIEMPO PASADO
Este tiempo indica a Be en un tiempo muy definido en el pasado. En suconjugación sufre dos cambios el was y el were.

PASADO SIMPLE
Indica una acción iniciada y terminada en tiempo pasado, bien determinado se indica con la forma pasada del verbo y una expresión adverbial (Frecuencias de tiempo)last night (anoche)
Yesterday (ayer) last week (semana pasada) two days ago (hace dos días).
