1. About Animal Farm:
Animal Farm was published in England en 1945 after World War II. The author, George Orwell, wrote it to expose the dangers of Stalinism.
It was hard for him to publish itbecause it was considered an anti-Stalin book.
It was his first successful novel and was translated into many languages.
The novel is a fairy tale for adults, because he used animals to represent realhistorical figures. Even though the book was considered Anti-Stalin, Orwell was a revolutionary socialist.
2. About the writer:
The British author Erik Arthur Blair, better known as GeorgeOrwell was born in 1903 in India He was a writer and a revolutionary socialist; a man of contradictions . He could not attend college. he joined the Indian imperial police, and all of his experience ledhim to put his knowledge to serve people most in need, an action which he would dedicate the rest of his life. split with indian police work after he left England. He joined in the spanish civbil waron the side of the republicans, and his experiences in this war, made him hate more totalitarianism .He died of tuberculosis in 1950 .He influenced both the world and in literature
Analysis1all starts when major old decides to gather everyone and gives a speech, to convince them that the man is the enemy, because the animals were tired of that man, do not give them to eat, abuse and stuff.so old major encourages them to rebel and sang a song the Beasts of England, which is a parody because it represents the speech to the Communist anthem. His Other Animals bears Many Similarities toMarx's Communist Manifesto. The animals of the Manor Farm Represent the Workers and Peasants of Russia, in whose name the first Russian Revolution's Leaders Struggle.
