The programs of export promotion are designed to promote productivity and quality ofprocesses that increase the competitiveness of enterprises and allow proper incorporation into the world market. The above, based on the reduction of tariff charges for supplies, parts and components to beincorporated in the export product and the simplification of administrative procedures by the federal government.

These programs are administered by the Directorate General of Foreign TradeServices, and are as follows:

Temporary Import Program to Produce Export Goods (PITEX) is an instrument of export promotion, through which allows producers of goods forexport, temporary import of various goods (raw materials, inputs, components, packaging and packaging, as well as machinery and equipment) for use in the development of export products, without coveringthe payment of general import tax, value added tax and countervailing duties, if applicable.
Beneficiaries of this program are legal persons of non-oil producers established in the country thatdirectly or indirectly exported and the foreign trade enterprises (ECEX) with current registration issued by the SE, which may enter into a program in PITEX specific project mode export.
