Clinical characteristics of the Bisacril compared with the acrylic conventional one, in patients to whom temporary restorations are realized.

RESUMEN
Los acrílicos se han convertido en materiales indispensable para la elaboración de dientesprovisionales durante la realización de prótesis fijas, permitiendo planear, diagnosticar y visualizar el tratamiento final. Este estudio comparó las características clínicas del Protemp 4(Casa 3M), con el acrílico convencional Veracril (Casa New Stetic), teniendo en cuenta la estética, el selle marginal y la retención de placa, ésta última mediante el Índice de higiene oral de Sinless y Loe. Materialesy métodos: El ensayo clínico controlado, fue realizado en 10 pacientes que requirieron tratamiento de prótesis fija con necesidad de provisionales, en cualquier arco dental en tramo ó individual, como mínimo con 2 dientes a restaurar, donde un provisional se realizó con Protemp4 y el otro con acrílico convencional (Veracril), obteniendo así 10 restauraciones en protemp 4 y 10 en acrílicoconvencional para tener los dos materiales a estudiar en el mismo medio bucal. Se consideraron como criterios de inclusión pacientes con periodonto sano, con la finalidad de evitar sesgos al momento de observar las características clínicas. Como criterios de exclusión se consideraron pacientes alérgicos al acrílico y con necesidad de sólo un diente a restaurar. Resultados: Completaron el estudio 10pacientes (100%), los cuales cumplieron todos los controles de revisión a los 8 días, a los 30 días y a los 45 días de haberse cementado los provisionales; en la primera revisión no se encontró cambios significativos en los aspectos evaluados, en la segunda revisión se obtuvo un cambio de color del veracryl y una desadaptación mínima; en los otros aspectos conservó sus características. La tercerarevisión se observaron cambios en los tres parámetros evaluados. Con el protemp4 no hubo alteración de sus características. Conclusión: el protemp4 (material de provisionalización) brindó características superiores en los aspectos evaluados con respecto al veracryl.

ABSTRACT
The acrylic materials havebecome indispensable for the preparation of teeth for the realization of temporary fixed prosthesis, allowing planning, diagnosing and displaying the final treatment. This study compared the clinical characteristics of Protemp 4 (House 3M), with conventional acrylic Veracril (New House Stetic), taking into account aesthetics, the marginal seal and retaining plate, the latter using the oral hygieneindex Sinless and Loe. Materials and methods: The controlled clinical trial was conducted in 10 patients who required treatment with fixed prostheses need provisional dental arch in any single section or at least with 2 teeth to restore, where a provisional Protemp4 was performed and the other with conventional acrylic (Veracril), obtaining 10 restorations in Protemp 4 and 10 conventional acrylicmaterials have both studying in the same oral environment.
