They formed in Los Angeles, and have always been known for its passion and exuberance for the spirit and energy. Black eyed Peas have earned therespect of thousands of fans to give new meaning and approach to hip hop, always transmitting carefree rhythms, a positive spirit and a very funk wave. Integrated by Will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo andFergie-last one to join, Black Eyed Peas is one of hip hop bands most important of the current American scene.
Its beginnings date back to the early 90's when Will.i.am and Apl.de.ap, classmates andfriends of high school formed the group Atban Klann. They recorded their debut album in 1992, and after three years of career decided to be renamed the band Black Eyed Peas. Adding Taboo to the group.With its combination of hip hop and funk, their early gigs in Los Angeles became famous in the circuit by the power for transmitting live and for their extravagant dance steps. In 1998 came theirdebut album, “Behind the front”, which received very positive reviews.
“Bridging the gap” was released in 2000 with guests like De La Soul, and Macy Gray.
The rise to fame came in the form ofElephunk, thanks to the collaboration of Justin Timberlake in the song 'Where is the love?', catapulted the group album to unexpected levels of popularity.
In 2005 their fourth album entitled MonkeyBusiness was released, which was attended by the famous 'Godfather of Soul' James Brown. Of this one went out the singles ' Don't phunk with my heart ' and ' Don't lie ', with which they overcame thesuccess of his previous disc.
In 2006, they acted in Rock in Rio-Lisboa fest, participating with the wellknown singer Britney Spears.

The same year, they released the album Renegotiations: The Remixes,which contains various remixes of some of its themes, this material was released on iTunes first and then came out on CD.
