Child prostitution,

Introduction:

It is estimated that worldwide each year are forced to over one million children into prostitution, they are bought and sold for sexual purposes or are used in the childpornography industry. It is a billion dollar industry where children enter by force or by deceit, deprived of their rights, their dignity and theirchildhood. Commercial sexual exploitation of children sentenced to one of the most dangerous forms of child labor, threatens theirmental and physical health, and undermines all aspects of development

As income:

Each year, according to UNICEF, one million children, mainly girls, all around the world enters the market for child prostitution. They are usually introduced by other adult prostituteswho takeadvantage of the poverty in which these children live and suffer economichardship. These women are responsible for capturing children. For that, look in theperipheral belts, and marginal areas of large cities or inside of the countries where povertyis often even greater than in the capitals.

The recruitment and abduction: Where do the children exploited in prostitution? Primarilyobtainedfrom: peripheral belts and marginal areas of big cities, or the children escaped from their homes.
In the industrial belts of big cities is where the pimps often work involved in identifying potential victims. These are usually prostitutes or former prostitutes who often depend on a dose of heroin. They take advantage of economic deprivation of the children and offer thema job or financial assistance, usually through a bar, a show or a dance group. Once theyearn their trust, lead them to a network facility where they fall into the hands of pimps.

Causes:

Neglect, physical and psychological abuse suffered by children had never reached such alarming proportions. Child prostitution has become a way of life. Poverty, the decline of the family as an institution and lack of access to educationleads to children fall into the hands of criminal organizations.
Child prostitution is increasingly common.

The consequences:

Children forced into prostitution are living a nightmare without end. The mistreatment and abuse they are subjected to life-long sequelae, ranging from stress to depression andsuicide attempts, and personality disorders. They must also deal with AIDS, sexuallytransmitted diseases and abortions for pregnancies that endanger their lives.
The abuse that children undergo when they are forced into prostitution is a mental health problem more serious and destructive. Child prostitution should be considered an act of violence, even if there is such that no physical assault, there are always psychological aggression.
The consequences are as varied as thestages that may arise. Recorded in childhoodschool failure, behavioral disturbances, phobias related to sexuality or sexual precocity and perversity. Even the victim may feel guilty and responsible for what is happening. In adolescence exhibit difficulties with feminine identity, body image rejection, severedepressions, eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Atmaturity externalize emotionalcrisis often, depression, sexual dysfunction in the marital relationship. In the elderly tend tohave outbreaks of anxiety and suicidal intentions especially at the beginning of menopause for women.

Modes of operation:

In the world there are networks of corruption of minors every year, who were also seizedthousands of pictures and videos of children, which will be sold by owners or by catalog and almostalways in the different countries of origin to avoid possible identification.Prostitution in general has been traditionally defined as the union with a woman for a fee or other consideration. This definition has undergone changes recently and is no longerlimited to women, on the one hand, and sexual union with another.
