Appendix:
• The appendix isa blind-ended tube connected to the cecum from which it develops embryologically. The cecum is a pouch like structure ofthe colon. The appendix is located near the junction of the small intestine and the large intestine.
• The appendix averages 10 cm in length, but can range from 2 to20 cm.
• Given the appendix's propensity to cause death by infection, and general good health of people who have had their appendix removed or who have a congenitalabsence of an appendix, the appendix is traditionally thought to have no function in the human body. There have been no reports of impaired immune or gastrointestinal function inpeople without an appendix.

Anus:
• The anus is an opening at the opposite end of an animal's digestive tract from the mouth. Its function is to expel feces,unwanted semi-solid matter produced during digestion, which, depending on the type of animal.
• The development of the anus was an important stage in the evolution ofmulticellular animals. In fact it appears to have happened at least twice, following different paths in protostomes and deuterostomes.

Spleen:
• The spleen, an organfound in virtually all vertebrate animals, satiates important roles in regards to red blood cells and the immune system.
• Located in the left upper quadrant of theabdomen, it removes old red blood cells, holds a reserve in case of hemorrhagic shock in some animals such as horses, but not humans.
• It is one of the centers aiding tothe activity of the reticuloendothelial system, and can be considered analogous to a large lymph node; the spleens absence leads to a predisposition to certain infections.
