1.1 EL ESTUDIANTE DESARROLLARÁ COMPRENSIÓN SOBRE CÓMO DESCRIBIR
EVENTOS Y SITUACIONES OCURRIDAS EN EL PASADO Y SU INCIDENCIA EN EL FUTURO.
1.1.1 Elestudiante entiende y usa expresiones para hablar sobre eventos del pasado y su
incidencia en el futuro
1.1.2 El estudiante lee textos sencillos sobre situaciones de la vida cotidiana y eventos del pasado
que podrían incidir en el futuro y encuentra información específica para dar una idea general del
mismo.
1.1.3 El estudiante escribe sobre temas que le son conocidos y de interés personal, dejando versu
punto de vista y usando las expresiones y temas trabajados.

2.1 EL ESTUDIANTE DESARROLLARÁ COMPRENSIÓN SOBRE EL ORIGEN DE LAS
COSTUMBRES DE SU PAÍS PARA IDENTIFICAR LAS DIFERENCIAS CULTURALES EXISTENTES
CON OTROS PAISES.
2.1.1 El estudiante identifica y habla sobre temas de actualidad y cultura general para describir
eventos y experiencias recientes
2.1.2 El estudiante leesobre temas de actualidad y experiencias propias y de otros.
2.1.3 El estudiante usa apropiadamente el vocabulario y las expresiones vistas para dar a conocer sus
puntos de vista.
It is important that students take seriously into account the following information proposed in here,
because those are really important aspects to be included in the mid- term exam.
The English teachers will work thesetopics along the questionnaire in class in order to clarify
question or doubts students might have and reinforce at the same time what students have
learned so far and their needs as well.
We will work with the questionnaire in class but you must review at home.
It is also important to check out some of the websites in which you can find a wide explanation
about the topics worked in class:

Keep in mind that you have to work at home as well with the websites proposed above so you can
bring questions to the class and have a wide idea about what you have to do when working with
the topics during the exam.
Questions are totally welcome in case you might need it, so don’t be afraid of letting theteacher
know what your questions are. The teacherswill be ready to help you out.

GRAMMAR
1. Review the grammar structure of the tenses given above in their different ways (affirmative,
negative, questions, short answers: positive andnegative way and the use of WhQuestions.
2. Remember to pay close attention in Present Simple with the third person (he, she, it) and
the way the verbs have to go.
3. Study the use of auxiliaries Do- does, don’t- doesn’t
4. Create affirmative, negative and questions using the topics given above.
5. Review the way how verbs have to go when using the –ing form.
6. Review the rules when working with thecomparatives and superlatives (short – long
adjectives)
7. Make comparative and superlative sentences when talking about food.
8. Take notes about food adjectives specially the ones people use to make recipes.
9. Create sentences and questions using present perfect simple.
10. Study the verb list in the column of Past Participle.
