The Law


At the beginning of time, laws were written to protect people from being harmed by others. Created under the Harm Principle, laws are responsible forprotecting people from violence. Harm Principle laws are essential, and every government on Earth has them. There is also the Parental Principle and the Mortality Principle which are intended todiscourage people from harming each other and even prohibit self-harm. These rules and laws are usually, but not always, grounded in religious belief. Other laws are used to regulate things such as: trade,immigration and sales. There are perhaps some unnecessary laws, and I personally don't think law really prevents problems. A law is important because it acts as a guideline as to what is accepted insociety. Laws are everywhere and it is pivotal that we follow them. "The history of law is the history of civilization, and law itself is only the blessed tie that binds human society together" -PeterLandry. There are laws who, historically, have something to do with sex. There are also other reasons to say why laws are so important and necessary like the Donation and the Statist Principles.Without laws a society just won't work. As time changes so will a law. Laws are constantly being amended when needed. People may not agree with a certain law but that is just the way society works.Most law experts say that life is based on following the law. For the most part people live with a built in set of morals and values they learn from those people around them, they can laterbe strengthened by the environment, religious beliefs, etc., so if laws were not implemented there wouldn't be any chaos or anything. On the other hand, other experts say that laws are created just tohave everything's order. If they weren’t laws then the world would be unsafe and there would be no order in society.
