To explain this to detail below: Since January 1, 2011, the social security institution reported changes on the worker-Employer quota, where the 9% will be deducted from theworker by the institution. The contribution of employees will be: From January 1st 2008 to December 31st 2010, 8% of their wages From January 1st 2011 to December 31st 2012, 9% of their wages FromJanuary 1st 2013 the contribution will be 9.75% of their wages.
The contribution of the employers (companies) will be: From January 1st 2008 until December 2010, their contribution will be11.50% of the employee’s salary. From January 1st 2011 to December 31st 2012, their contribution will be 12 % of the employee’s salary. From January 1st 2013, their contribution will be the 12.25% ofthe employee’s salary.
The contribution of the employees and employers regarding the thirteenth month (XIII) remains at 7.25% to 10.75% of the salary gross, implemented for the periods on the 2007.See rates on the chart provided below:
