David Belle was born on 29 April 1973 in Fécamp,France. Brought up by his grandfather, his great support in his life, he told stories about his father, an acrobat and hero fireman. He grew upwanting to be like his father, and just like him, David is determined, bold and unconventional.
David began to practise parkour when he was only 15 years, and always with his close friend, SebastienFoucan, nowadays an actor, and the founder of parkour together with David. Also, since that time David left school and only practiced parkour, always with his motto in mind, "to be and to last".
He rose tofame through the videos that uploaded on Internet, and too for his work as stuntperson in films and adverts, such as Prince of Persia, Colombian, The Family and District 13. Being today, besidesactor, coordinator of specialists in movies.
Due to their dedication and effort, David created "Parkour Worldwide Association" in 2005, present in many countries around the world.
David Belle’sphilosophy, and the philosophy for all the traceurs must be helps overcome fears, develop mind and body. The parkour is a way of life, and as a result David grew up like his father or better.
