Due to Victor Arevalos recent court rescheduling I will not be able to be present to show my support for him on his sentencing day. My name is SantosArevalos , I am 19 years old , I am a resident of Rialto , Ca, and I am victors cousin, I am a member of the los Angeles local union 1247 and I work as a floor layer. When my family and I wereinformed of the unfortunate activities victor was involved with, we were filled with grief and sadness, the thought of having a family member like Victor being punished with prison time is justunbearable. These long ten months have not been the same without him, we are a very close family and Victor’s situation has affected all of us immensely. I believe that we are all human and we makesome decisions without thinking of some of the most dangerous consequences. I believe we should all receive a second chance to make all our wrongs right. Therefore I am begging you and thejudicial system of Ely, Nevada to please be lenient with Victor and grant him parole, he is still a young man and prison is no place for him. My home will always be open to Victor and me and myfamily will pressure him to strictly comply with the several rules and regulations given to him. fortunately his previous work experience as a fellow union member makes him eligible to acquirea job at my recent occupation , which by the way has a current employment increase and will be perfect for him to join . I honestly guarantee that you will not regret this decision and thatthis will be his last negative run in with the law. With his perfect behavior at Ely county jail as proof, I assure you that he is a changed man and has acknowledged his mistakes and is stronglycommitted to turn things around and live a tranquil life.
