1 Instrument Management Concepts
|What is Manage Instruments? |The Instrument Management window provides the user with an easy way to manage the |
| |instruments and to determine the status of an instrument. Calibration, preventive |
| |maintenance, and servicedates are used to determine whether the instrument maintenance |
| |is up to date. |
|How do I get to the Instrument Management|To open Instrument Management, select the Manage Instruments menu item from the Run menu.|

The Instrument Management screen can be used to keep track of calibration to components of instruments. A field called Parent Instrument in the Instrument table is used to identify the parent instrument for a component.
