Once upon a time , a carpenter named Gepetto who decided to build a wooden doll , which he called Pinocchio. With it , got not feel as alone as he had been until then .
-How well have been me - once exclaimed finished building and painting . How I wish to have life and be a real boy !
As he had been very good man throughout life, and his feelings were sincere. A fairy decided to grant the wishand overnight gave life to Pinocchio.
The next day, when Gepetto went to his studio , took a shock to hear that someone greeted him :
-Hi Dad - Pinocchio said.
- Who is - Gepetto asked .
- I, Pinocchio. Do not you know ? - He asked .
Gepetto addressed the doll.
- Is that you ? Looks like I'm dreaming, finally I have a son!
Gepetto wanted to care for her child as she would with anyone otherthan wood . Pinocchio had to go to school, learn and meet other children . But the carpenter had no money and had to sell his coat to buy a briefcase and books .
From that day , Pinocchio started going to school in the company of a cricket , which gave good advice. But , like most kids , Pinocchio would rather go for fun to go to school to learn, so do not always heeded cricket . One day he wentto Pinocchio puppet theater and hear a story. When I saw the theater owner wanted to keep him
-Oh , a puppet who walks by himself , and speaks ! With him in the company , I will get rich - said the puppeteer , thinking Pinocchio would win a lot of money .
Despite the recommendations of the little cricket , he said it was better to go there, Pinocchio decided to stay in the theater, thinkingthat could earn money to buy a new coat to Gepetto , who had sold his books to buy .
And so did throughout the day was acting for the puppeteer. After a few days , when I wanted to go home, the owner of the puppet said he could not leave, he had to stay with him.
Pinocchio began to mourn so, so heartbroken , that the owner gave him some money and let him go . Back home , cricket and Pinocchio ,crossed with two crafty thieves who convinced the boy that if coins buried in a nearby field , called the " Field of Miracles " , the money would multiply and rich.

Relying on the two men, and listen to the cricket that warned of deception , Pinocchio buried coins and left. Quickly, the two thieves took coins and Pinocchio had to return home without coins.
During the days that had been outPinocchio , Gepetto was very sad and worried, was out looking for him everywhere. So when Pinocchio and Cricket got home, they were alone . Fortunately, the fairy had turned Pinocchio into a child , explained that the carpenter had gone out to sea to find them .
Pinocchio and Jiminy decided to go look , but came across a group of children :
- Where are you going - you asked Pinocchio .
- In Toyland -answered a child. There you can play forever ! Want to join us?
-Oh , no, no, no - warned the cricket . Remember that we have to find Gepetto , who is sad and worried about you.
-Just for a while - Pinocchio said After still looking for him.
And Pinocchio was with children , followed cricket intentava continue persuading continue searching the carpenter . Pinocchio jumped and played everythingI wanted . Then forgot to Gepetto , just thought fun and keep playing. But as he spent more and more hours in Toyland , Pinocchio was becoming a donkey. When he realized it began to mourn . Hearing him , the fairy took pity on him and returned his look, but he warned :
- From now on , every time you lie your nose will grow .
Cricket Pinocchio came out quickly and looking for Gepetto .
Geppetto, who had gone in search of his son Pinocchio in a small sailing boat , had been swallowed by a huge whale .
Pinocchio and grillito , were desperate to sea to rescue the poor old man papa Pinocchio .
When Pinocchio was against the whale asked to please give him back to his father, but the big huge whale opened its mouth and swallowed it too him.
Geppetto and Pinocchio finally were back...
