PART A
1. Start Dreamweaver.
2. If not already created, create a site called Continents and copy all of the continents files from previous exercise to its folder.
3. If not alreadycreated, create an images subfolder within the site with all image files stored into that folder.
4. Download russia-flag.jpg from Blackboard into images folder.


PART B
5. Start Photoshop andopen russia-flag.jpg
6. Making sure that the aspect ratio is preserved, resize the image to be 150 pixels wide and save it.
7. Open world-map.jpg
8. With world-map.jpg image, use the MagicWand tool to select the area of the map designated as “Russia”
9. Copy this area to the clipboard.
10. Open a new Photoshop file with the name russia-map ,400X400 pixel dimensions, 16-bit RGBcolor depth and white background.
11. Paste the selection from clipboard into this document. Name this layer graphic
12. Using the Magic Wand tool, select the map. Make sure to check offcontiguous box if there are multiple pieces to the shape.
13. Switch your work area to russia-flag.jpg
14. Using the Color Picker select the foreground color to be the same blue as the one in the flag.15. Switch your work area to russia-map
16. Color the map blue using paint bucket tool.
17. Make sure to color the map blue completely using the brush tool.


PART C
18. Change theforeground color to be red of the flag.
19. Select the text tool. Set the text type to Arial, Regular 12 pt.
20. Create a new layer named text and type the word “RUSSIA” in the middle of the map.21. After selecting the graphic layer, use the Magic Wand tool select the background of the map (white space).
22. Set foreground color to black and color the image background from white to black23. Using the Zoom and Pencil tools make sure all white background is colored black.
24. Save the image as russia-map.jpg
