What do we must consider when selecting a pet?
What animals are more dangerous for health?
A common mistake is bringing home a pet on an impulsewithout fully understanding the level of commitment involved. A pet needs food, a special place for it to rest, water, a veterinary, everybody has to take care of it as a member of the family; they alsohave needs, they also feel. Most of the times we feel that we need a pet at home and we just bring the first animal we find, commonly a cat, a dog, a rabbit, a mouse a fish or a snake. Every animal needsits own space, do not select a wild or farm animal if you do not have the conditions to make it live on peace. So if your house is small do not bought a big dog, but if you have enough space tooffer, go ahead.
If your family is not so active and the animal is going to spend most of the time alone at home, then consider buying or adopting a cat or lower energy dogs. Some people find cats asperfect pets because they don`t have to be let outside, they love to be resting, don`t eat that much and can be left alone for longer periods of time.
But even if they do not request that much timesome animals may be dangerous not only because they could jump over you or your family but because they can bring illness too. Many people have allergies to pets, for example: Dogs and cats spreadrabies, hepatitis, tuberculosis, Flu, parasites chagas, salmonella and herpes. Bunnies, hamsters, rats, squirrels and monkeys spread yellow fever, rabies, encephalitis and Infections salmonella, dysenteryand malaria.
