INTRODUCTION
In this work I am going to present a proposal of an activity to develop the communicative skills in the secondary students, specifically in writing, first I am going to explain all the process that is necessary to the student through in order to achieve the goals and purposes of the activity.
Later I am going to give my proposal giving some details about it and the strategies andtechniques that we can use in classroom to get a successful activity and give to the students a lot of tools to improve their communicative skills.
Then I am going to give some suggestion to the class work about what kind of strategies or activities can we use to make that the student feels comfortable in it and be able to express their ideas and feeling in a written way.THE WRITTEN PROCESS
Before to the student be able to make a written product it is necessary to pass through a process that involves a serial of steps in order to the student get a good work that have specific characteristic. Based in the writing process by Patick Sebranek, the student need to complete five stages to have a great written work, those stages are: prewriting, writing the first draft,revising, editing and publishing.
In the first step, prewriting, it is necessary that the student select a topic and find an interested way to write about it, the student needs to write a very thing that he think and all the ideas that come to his mind.
The next step is writing the first draft, in tis one, the student has to write in a natural way, it doesn’t matter if the structure or grammar isnot perfect; the idea is that he writes with fluency and doesn’t stop until he comes to a natural stopping point.
The third one is named revising, in this stage the student has to share the product with his classmates and also with the teacher, it is necessary to obtain different points of view of the work and based in that refine the style and modify some aspects of the project.
The next stepis revising, in this one the student has a chance to modify and check the las aspects in order to make a good work, he has to revise the grammar, coherence, cohesion, relation between ideas, etc.
And finally the last stage is to publish the project, it is necessary to print it and also read it aloud in front of a public, they can give you their personal opinion and also some suggestion about thework.
All of these steps are necessary to practice in the classroom in order to the student in a future time be able to make it by himself and make successful projects in his personal life.
MY PROPOSAL
Based in the surveys that I applied previously in the secondary school that I practiced, I found that the students of that age like to read magazines about fashion, singers, music and artist, andalso they like to write letters, for that reason my activity is the next one.
Activity: Write a letter to someone famous.
Purpose: The student be able to write in a coherent way about something that is related with his life and based in his interests.
Development:
 Select a super star that they like, it could be an artist, singer, player, model or any person that all of us know and coosethe topic for the letter like greetings, talk about their personal life, about a song or video that they really like, etc.
 Write the first draft, they have to write the letter just in a piece of paper thwy can help them with a dictionary, internet, of some books.
 The first evaluation: The students are going to exchange their drafts and obtain a co evaluation and suggestion for some of theirclassmates.
 Now students have to modify their letters and now are time to make the final job, they have to decorate their letters and polish their work.
 Finally students pass to the front and read aloud their letters and also show their works in order to value their creativity.
This activity could be used in any level and with different topics, may be a letter to some friend or to their mom...
