DINERO DE EMERGENCIADefinición:
Por dinero de emergencia o de necesidad se entiende aquellos símbolos monetarios emitidos por entidades públicas o privadas para solventar una situación transitoria de escasez en los medios de pago habituales.
Las guerras, crisis políticas y económicas crean situaciones de penuria y desequilibrio que con frecuencia fuerzan a las instituciones a tomar medidas de urgencia para restablecer lacirculación o ajustarse a la nueva coyuntura.
De acuerdo a estas causas se dan tres categorías fundamentales de dinero de emergencia:
* Emisiones militares
* Emisiones provocadas por situaciones políticas especiales
* Emisiones de emergencia de origen económico
