El llamado a tener un llugo igual con jesús
El punto principal en la agenda del Espíritu Santo es establecer el primer mandamiento como la primera prioridad del cuerpo de Cristo.
37 Y El le dijo: AMARAS AL SEÑOR TU DIOS CON TODO TU CORAZON, Y CON TODA TU ALMA, Y CON TODA TU MENTE. 38 Este es el grande y el primermandamiento.(Mateo 22:37-38)
El Padre prometió una herencia a Su hijo amado (Salmos 2:8). Esta herencia es dar a Jesús una compañera eterna quien lo amará con todo su corazón así como es Su amor para con nosotros.
"Pídeme, y te daré las naciones como herencia tuya, y como posesión tuya los confines de la tierra” (Salmos 2:8)
Obediencia Obligatoria: Dios provocará que toda la creación obedezca aJesús. (Filipenses 2:9-11).
Amor Voluntario: La definición de amor require que lo escojamos a Él. El Padre impartirá el mismo amor que Él tiene por Jesús, en los corazones de los que lo anhelen.
Yo les he dado a conocer quién eres, y seguiré haciéndolo, para que el amor con que me has amado esté en ellos, y yo mismo esté en ellos. (Juan 17:26)
Se necesita a Dios para amar a Dios. La unción derecibir el amor de Dios y amarlo a Él es el regalo más grande que el Espíritu impar Nuestro deseo por Dios es una expression de Su deseo por nosotros.
“Y esta esperanza no nos defrauda, porque Dios ha derramado su amor en nuestro corazón por el Espíritu Santo que nos ha dado.” (Romanos 5:5)
Debemos amar a Dios en Sus términos, de acuerdo a cómo lo define Él. Jesús quiere que lo amemos de tal formaque Le demos el total liderazgo sobre nuestras vidas. Un problema central en la iglesia de los últimos tiempos es cómo definimos el amor. Debemos definirlo en los terminus de Dios, no en los terminus de nuestra cultura humanistic que busca a Dios sin obediencia a Su Palabra. En nuestra cultura hay muchas definiciones de amor, libertad y libertinaje que no son bíblicas. Dios no es un hippiellamándonos a una vida sin criterio.
Jesus defined loving God as being deeply rooted in a spirit of obedience (Jn. 14:21). There is no such thing as loving God without seeking to obey His Word.
15If you love Me, keep My commandments...21He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me…23If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. (Jn. 14:15-23)
The Sermon on the Mount (Mt. 5-7)defines love on God’s terms. It calls us to live out the 8 beatitudes (Mt. 5:3-12) as we pursue hundredfold obedience (Mt. 5:48) by resisting the 6 negative influences related to our natural lusts (Mt. 5:21-48) and by pursuing the 5 positive nutrients (Mt. 6:1-18) that position us to receive the Spirit’s impartation of grace. We measure our ministry impact by the extent to which those we minister tolive out these values, not by the number of people who receive our ministry.

God’s first priority and theSpirit’s first emphasis is that we would cultivate love for God.
37You shall love the LORD…38This is the first and great commandment. (Mt. 22:37-38)
Jesus did not call it the first option, but the first command. Jesus makes it clear that cultivating love for Him is the first emphasis of the Holy Spirit. God has everything, yet He is searching for something that He still wants first. What does Godsearch for? What does He want most and first? It is love that He is after. He is after our heart. The mystery of our life is found in this truth.
Cultivating love for God has the greatest impact on God’s heart and our heart. Anyone who loves Jesus will love others much more. It is the greatest calling. Some who seek to know God’s will for their life focus on knowing what they are supposed to...
