* Yes I just use whatevr motor oil I am putting in at the end, get plenty oneverything for that first start, after that it's all covered in oil anyway hopefully.

* may be a dumb question, however, i'vebeen rebuilding my 1600cc and my heated crank gear cooled before i could position it and is stuck wrongly on the crankshaft, any tips on removing it?

* Yes I put one on back to front once so don't feel bad - they cool down so fast when they touch the crank shaft. Just pull it off again with your puller and itshould pop straight then come off, and do it again.
