Environmental Transport Systems

Population has experienced continuous growth; this has caused a huge demand for a better transport system that benefits the community and specially, the environment because nowadays the transportsystem plays a major role in people's lives. Recently the international interest has started to grow in integrating environmental conservation measures to the policies of economic and social growth, evenif through the years the air pollution has increased, and many air pollutants have been identified as being closely related to transportation, causing a big impact in the environment.

However, thepublic transportation also offers a space to research environmentally friendly fuel substitutes. On the one hand, Hydrogen Technology; this new technology is being implemented in different countriessuch as London, Australia and Iceland; they believe Hydrogen technology will play a major role in helping to reduce environmental impacts in large cities. This technology offers several benefits.First, the buses only emit water steam, totally cutting out Carbon Dioxide and other noxious emissions. Secondly, they will be quieter than diesel buses. Thirdly, they will be more comfortable forpassengers thanks to the electric motor. However, Hydrogen buses are expensive.
On the other hand, the Hybrid Buses are quieter, cleaner more fuel-efficient than average diesel buses, and they reduceemissions of pollutants and Carbon Dioxide by at least 30 per cent compared to conventional diesel buses. These kinds of hybrid buses are in different countries in Asia, United States and Europe, thesehelp to reduce air pollution compared with diesel buses, hybrid buses deliver environmental benefits.
These vehicles help to reduce emissions Nitrogen and Carbon Monoxide, reduction in perceived soundlevel, as well as Carbon Dioxide.
