Funny Sentences
The game goes like this:
1) every student need to prepare a piece of paper
2) devide your class into 4 groups (A B C D),at best with the same number of students in each.
3)ask the students in Group A to write a name of any person they come up with. (it would be better that the person is well-known, like Gorge W. Bush...)
4) ask the students in Group B to write any time theylike(e.g. last night)
5) ask the students in Group C to write any place as they want (e.g. on Moon)
6) ask the students in Group D to write anything that a person may be doing.
and then you just randomly choose a student in each group to read what he wrote on the paper from Group A to Group D.
every student only contributes one part of a sentence, so you can't expect how funny the sentencesmay be. (e.g. George W. Bush, last night, on Moon, dance; Jackie Chen, 3:00 am, in my room, take a shower.)
Enjoy it!
Get off my back
Get the students to write down their english name and their name in their native language in the bottom half of a sheet of paper. Fold the papers in half and throw them into a hat. Now get a student to come up to the front of the class and choose a name randomlyand stick the upper half of the paper into the back of their collar so that the name shows. NOw make the student walk around so their classmates see who is on their back. Now he students ask yes or no questions and only yes or no questions to their classmates to determine who is on their back. The point of the game is for the student to ask as few yes or no questions to their classmates to guesswho is on their back. They can only make a guess in the format "Is Mary on my back?" The winner is the person who guesses the person on their back in the fewest number of questions.
Ghosts and Spiders
This game can be played by all ages, especially elementary school students.
You will need a whiteboard (or chalkboard), two colored magnets, a marker pen (or chalk - depending on how trampy yourschool is!!!!) and a dice.
Draw a big circle on the board and divide it into twelve segments so it looks like a huge pizza!! Now draw a ghost in one segment (like a Pacman ghost) and repeat this seven times so you have a ghost in eight different random segments. Now draw two spiders in two different segments and then finally draw two crosses in the remaining two segments.
Divide the class into twoteams and place one colored magnet on the left hand side of the circle (team one) and the other magnet on the right hand side (team two).
Give each team ten lives. Do this by writing TEAM 1 and underneath it draw ten dashes, do the same for TEAM 2.
The object of the game is for ecah team to try and eliminate the other by killing off their lives.
Ask Team 1 a question, if they get it correctthen they can throw the dice. Move their corresponding magnet clockwise around the pizza. If they land on a Ghost then they can erase one life from the opposing team. If they land on a Spider they themselves lose a life and if they land on a cross then they gain a life. Now Team 2 have their turn and this continues until one team loses all ten lives the winner is the team left with lives. The gameshould last about fifteen minutes depending on how intelligent your student are!!!! If you want it to last longer add more crosses, if you want it to be shorter add more ghosts and spiders.

You are the captain of theship and you have to go, but what will you take with you? Easy, you tell your students that you will take something that begins with the first letter of your name. Example, My name is Mike so I will take with me some milk. However, don't explain that to the students. It would ruin the game! This is what you say to begin the game:
I am the captain of a spaceship that is going to the moon. I need to...
