Global warming myth or fact
Global Warming has become an increasing global concern over the last century. Politicians, scientists and even celebritites have promoted the idea that our earth and life form in it is in eminent danger, because of it. What we must ask ourselves is whether thereis a chance of all of it being a scam. As many world issues, global warming has become popular thru films and celebrities. In the year 2007 Al Gore presented his film an inconvenient truth. This film explained with a persuasive keynote speaker and shocking statistics what Global Warming was and how it could threaten our lives. The world response to it was extraordinary and people all over theworld started engaging in conversations about this problem using Al Gores arguments. However there are a few things an inconvenient truth does not say.

Earths natural temperature fluctuation
Contrary to popular believe, climate in our planet has constantly been changing. Only in the last couple of millenniums there have already been a warming period greater than the one we are experiencing rightnow. The earth has climate cycles. We are actually in one right now in this Holocene epoch. This becomes counter intuitive since one thousand years ago there was no such thing as Green house gases according to scientists. Factories did not exist and CO2 was only produced naturally. Human beings produce as a matter of fact only 6% of Co2 so how can they be responsible for the enormous increaseshowed in Mr. Gores presentation. There is even worst news for Mr. Gore. The explosion of the volcano Mt. Pinatubo(1991) put more green house gases in our atmosphere than all industrial activity in the last century. This only means that forces out of our reach are the primary and most important producers of Co2 in our atmosphere. Not human beings as many have made us believe. Another very commonmisconception is that the earth is the only planet that is generally warming. Planets such as Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, and Triton, Neptune's largest moon are also warming. This is obviously not because of green house gases caused by men but because of SUV radiation caused by the sun. This is another indicator that our earth is not cooling because of us.

How bad heat actually is?
As stated earlierclimate change is a natural process. Over the years we are constantly faced with warming periods and cooling periods, which lead to ice ages that destroy most life form. So the question remains. Is climate change really that bad? There are certain animals and life form that actually benefit from increasingly long and hot seasons. Grey Nurse sharks, Starfish and jellyfish are only some of the manyanimal species that may benefit from global warming. In the case of the Grey Nurse Shark for example, it would allow some populations to meet with distant others, separated by cold ocean waters. Also studies show that timber and other Green livestock benefits from the increase in CO2 in our atmosphere. Further more

Popularity of information
Not a lot of people may know this but global warminghas not been the only headline in newspapers over the years. From 1940 to 1970 there was a significant cooling period that presented itself with record low temperaturas in the winters. The news by this time actually started to promote the possibility of a 1995 ice age caused by pollution of industries. This brings us to the conclusión that the media makes money when the world is at a crisis stage.The media will not sell if it doesn’t promote an idea of world destruction or salvation. Others that may have an incentive to make us believe that we should all unite and obey certain rules to amend our earth are governments around the world. Government have taken strong policies over production and oil consumption due to the idea of global warming. This last one is mainly what the world needs...
