GARBAGE: BIG PROBLEM

GREAT PACIFIC GARBAGE PATCH
Not all the garbage ends in the dump.We cand find remains of garbage in other sites, since forests, rivers, lakes,seas and oceans. In fact, the biggest extencion of garbage in the Earth is not on the land. With it I want to refer
that in the ocean exists a great extention of garbage.The Great Pacific Garbage Patch's lenght is around 1.400.000Km2.
It is characterized for high concentrations of pelagic plastics, chemical sludge, and other debris thathave been
trapped by the currents of the North Pacific Gyre.

PLASTIC
The last year, around 100.00 whales, seals, turtles and other marine animals died with plastic bagsinside of their
body. A plastic bag can sail along the sea 30 or 40 years without destroyed.Turtles confused with jellyfish and
they eat them drowning for byswallowing. Dolphins, whales and other animals happens the same.

5 easy WAYS TO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT
1: Plastic with time and temperature changes can give off toxins in thewater. Reusing a bottle 2 or 3 times help to
reduce the use of plastics a lot.
2: In the yellow container you thrown in the plastic bottles, tin bottles,...; in the bluecontainer you thrown in
paper and castboard; in the green container you thrown in glass bottles; in the grey container you thrown in the rest
of waste.
3: A low energ lampis more expensive than a normal lamp but his consume is small and his use life is higherthan a
normal lamp. In the electricity consume you can see that.
4: The cloth bagscontaminate a little if we compare with plastic bags.
5: Using public transport you help to no pollution in the air because the gases from cars contaminates a lot.
