GENETIC DISEASES TURNER SYNDROME: Encompasses several conditions in human females, of which monosomy X, is most common. It is a chromosomal abnormality in which all or part of one of the sexchromosomes is absent Normal females have two X chromosomes, but in Turner syndrome, one of those sex chromosomes is missing or has other abnormalities. DOWM SYNDROME: Is a chromosomal condition characterizedby the presence of an extra copy of genetic material on the 21st chromosome. Often Down syndrome is associated with some impairment of cognitive ability and physical growth, and a particular set offacial characteristics. INFECTIOUS DISEASES. Hepatitis B. is an infectious illness caused by hepatitis B virus (HBV) which infects the liver of hominoidea, including humans, and causes an inflammationcalled hepatitis. Are a heterogeneous group[1] of rare diseases characterised by autoimmune activity against more than one endocrine organs, although non-endocrine organscan be affected. SELF INFLICTED DISEASES Lung cancer. is a disease characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lung. If left untreated, this growth can spread beyond the lung in aprocess called metastasis into nearby tissue and, eventually, into other parts of the body. Alcoholism. Alcoholism is a broad term for problems with alcohol, and is generally used to mean compulsive anduncontrolled consumption of alcoholic beverages, usually to the detriment of the drinker's health, personal relationships, and social standing.
