Geographers use a satellite system called the Global Positioning System (GPS) to find absolute location. Relativelocation is where a place is in relation to other places. Place Includes the characteristic of a location. A famous place in the western UnitedStates is the Grand Canyon. It has steep rock walls that were carved over centuries by the Colorado river.
Human- Environment interaction Explains how people affect the environment and how theenvironment affects people.
