Gepon
As I had mentioned earlier, we are a telecommunications company, we work in the networking of companies and financial institutions, which currently have interconnected withoptical fiber, with the help of a switch F.0. 10/100/1000 as shown in the figure:
A small example network activity at 3 Customers and their different branches vlan optical fiber as shown in thefigure above:
Client 1
5 branch
Vlan 10
Cliente 2
5 branch
Vlan 20
Cliente 3
2 branch
Vlan 30
Making an interconnection between branches for data transfer by optical fiber 10/100 mb.Share information between branches viafiber optic
Different customers are differentiated by means of VLANs
Now in order to optimize our fiber optics, we chose to deploy PON technology, and sent us anGEPON technology. Displayed in the tag team OLT
GEPON OLT CHASSIS
TYPE: AN-E-OLT8000-C
POWER SUPLLY: 90 – 265V /AC 50 HZ
S/N: 11050LTRack0001
That connection with all branches of the samecustomer.
That customers are differentiated with VLANs
And we want to organize it as shown in Figure
In this image we capture the interconnectedness that we wish to perform, establishingcommunication between different clients and branches with the help of vlan for their separation.
In tests with the previous team sent, had the problem of configuring the same VLAN you could check withremote access via TeamViewer, and ending VLAN configuration still had IP conflicts.
In the new EPON equipment sent to us after testing, it had the following problems.
- There is no connection of twoor more ONUs in the same port PON, PON only between different ports. - Configuring VLANs, there is no connection of two or more ONUs in the same port PON.
- Is not ping between clients in the samebranch.
This is a big problem that we need to solve, to implement our fiber optic network.
After reading all the documentation of PON technologies EPON and GEPON in our case, we see that it is a...
