GHOST
In traditional belief and fiction, a ghost (sometimes known as a spectre (British English) or specter (American English), phantom, apparition or spook) is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear, in visible form or other manifestation, to the living. Descriptions of the apparition of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or barely visible wispyshapes, to realistic, lifelike visions. The deliberate attempt to contact the spirit of a deceased person is known as necromancy, or in spiritism as a séance.
The belief in manifestations of the spirits of the dead is widespread, dating back to animism or ancestor worship in pre-literate cultures. Certain religious practices—funeral rites, exorcisms, and some practices of spiritualism and ritualmagic—are specifically designed to rest the spirits of the dead. Ghosts are generally described as solitary essences that haunt particular locations, objects, or people they were associated with in life, though stories of phantom armies, ghost trains, phantom ships, and even ghost animals have also been recounted.
Ghosts: are believed to be the spirits of dead people.  When they appear, they aresaid to appear in bodily likeness to living persons and often haunt their former habitats.  Some believe that ghosts are the souls of the deceased, demons or spirits.  

In a television program televised in the U.K. the Rev. Lionel Fanthorpe (paranormal researcher), said that in his view there were four possible solutions, as to what constitutes a ghost:
1). A spirit departed
2). The replayof something that had happened in the past
3). A malfunction of the mind or an hallucination 
4). Elementals, divas or gins
There are literally thousands, if not more, ghost stories that have been told over the years.  Practically everybody knows somebody who has either heard of a ghost or even seen one. The list below (which will continue to expand), contains some of the different types ofghosts that have been documented over the years.
The human soul survives the death of the material body and has another body called perispirit. The humans would disembodied ghosts able to manifest by the perispirit perceptible to the ordinary senses. In the spiritualist vocabulary word ghost is not used, but eidolon, spirit, body or entity. Some souls would not have gone to another level of existencefor fear of burning eternally, by simple stubbornness or have too much attachment to this level of existence or some things and people of this level of existence.
Ghosts and Catholicism
The Catechism of the Catholic Church does not believe in ghosts because not support the existence of limbo, although some theologians it the postulate. The Catholic Church considers harmful, harmful,self-destructive and sinful use of necromancy, Ouija, Tarot and any non-religious ceremony or procedure with which communication with the afterlife is obtained; as exorcists and demonólogos as Father José Antonio Fortea, use these rituals, apart from being extremely dangerous from a psychological standpoint, is leaving door open to let the Devil. Moreover, according to the eschatology of some theologians,there is a limbo to which the souls, creatures, not humans and undecided angels, who are neither good nor bad nor have sided with anyone, waiting for the place God will give them when the final judgment occurs.
As modern man has developed new communication technologies, those interested in obtaining information ghosts have used and well spoken of EVP or sound recordings in which he allegedly voiceor movement of some defunct hear, or psicoimágenes, static and moving images in which allegedly can distinguish some ghostly presence.
However, those who seek to justify the existence of another world and possible communication therewith must first justify why almost all spiritual manifestations are reduced to psychological manifestations of deception or self-deception, or fraud, as experts...
