The Greeks believe in many gods with human form, thease gods also had strengths and weaknesses of humans, but they where inmortal and doesn´t had misery, deseases anddon´t grow old. Thease gods can have chealdren whith humans, that where heroes and are named semigods.

At the beggining there was only Chaos of whom was born Gea that gavebirth to Uranus, he fertilized Gea, and from this union where born the titans that where six males: Coeus, Crius, Cronus, Hyperion, Iapetus, and six females Mnemosyne,Phoebe, Rhea, Theia, Themis, and Tethys.

Cronus dethroned his father and became the ruler of the gods whith his sister and wife Rhea, and the other titans became hiscourt. Because Cronus betrayes his father he feared the same thing happen to him, so each time Rhea gave him a son Cronus eated it.

Rhea tricked him by hidding Zeus, andwrapping a stone with a diaper, Cronuus est the stone. When Zeus was full grown he gaved Cronus a droged drink which cause him to vomit his brother´s and the stone.

Zeusdeclared war to Cronus and his Titans, whith help of his brothers he defeated Cronos and Cronus and his Titans where convicted to Tartarus.

Zeus married Metis, and wasconcerned by the same reason and, after a prophecy that he would give birth to a son greater than he, Zeus ested Metis, and they make him miserably until Athena was bornfrom his heath fully grown and dressed for war.

The Greeks believed the gods had choose Mount Olympus, in Thessaly. Among the gods, they formed three groups thatcontrolled sky, sea and land.

Usually called the Olympians, were Zeus, Hera, Hephaestus, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hestia, Hermes, Demeter and Poseidon.
