RESUMEN Se parte de una relectura del caso, distinguiendo entre el material –relatado por Freuda través del cual la paciente presenta la problemática y su contexto –o sea el fenómeno a observar en su conjunto-, y los principios explicativos de los que se vale la teoría freudiana paracomprender el caso. Sobre la base del primer material, se intenta una comprensión alternativa desde una perspectiva que vincula la problemática de la paciente con la trama relacional-familiar de la que forma parte; se muestra después la probable correlación entre esta perspectiva y el punto de vista freudiano -relacionar las manifestaciones sintomáticas de Dora con los distintos enamoramientosinconscientes postulados-. Se analiza la estructura hipotética freudiana y sus fundamentos, y se realizan reflexiones comparativas sobre las distintas teorizaciones, y sus posibles articulaciones, con el objetivo de enriquecer la teoría y ampliar el campo de posibilidades de la clínica y hacerla más eficaz. SUMMARY Starting with a revision of a freudian case history (Dora) it is an attempt to findan alternative understanding of it from the systemic family therapy perspective, relating the patient's situation to certain processes and relationship and family structures where she is immersed. The likely correlation between the systemic perspective and the freudian approach to explain Dora's symptoms is shown through her various love affairs. It is an attempt to establish bonds, both operativeand theoretical, between these two approaches with the purpose of enhancing the quality and efficiency of clinical psychology as well as the communication among the professionals. These bonds are essential when the treatment requires a multidisciplinary approach. However, the aim of this work is not to integrate these two perspectives but to do a comparative research based on different readings ofthe same clinical case. Theoretical isolation hinders the communication of different perspectives and of creativity. As a consequence it also impoverishes the professional practice. Since most ideations and behaviours take place within a social microsystem, it is intended to facilitate the incorporation of the systemic contribution to the psycoanalitical approach. This freudian case history hasbeen chosen for its paradigmatic importance. Most freudian cases are paradigmatic, because their original interpretations have been challenged. The purpose is to show that the cases are not what each school says they are, but that they are phenomena, they are what they are. Each observer will interpret them according to his/her conception. Besides articulating the different theorizations, it isimportant to articulate the practices and approches so as to allow to transit freely from one to another as it is often required for each patient. As far as which approach is more valid: it does not seem adequate for therapists to be trapped in this dilemma; and if forced to ask themselves this question due to the complexity of some cases, the answer surely should appear in accord with an accurateassessment of the cases’ needs, and not due to previous theoretical decisions.
