On the night of November 5th we commemorate the capture of Guy Fawkes with bonfires andfireworks, and by burning an effigy of Guy.

Stuff a large pair of tights with newspaper or fabric...full to bursting...pull a big pair of mens trousers over them, roughly sew the top of the tights to thewaistband of the trousers. Stuff the feet into boots.

Stuff a man’s sweatshirt with newspaper or fabric, and again roughly sew the bottom of the sweatshirt to the waistbandof the trousers, attach braces for a rustic look. Sew stuffed gloves onto the ends of the arms.

The head. Stuff a carrier bag, paper or fabric, full to bursting.Thrust it onto a wooden pole, tape it securely and put the pole down the back of the sweatshirt and down the back of the trousers. More tape round the neck to make it rigid. Create wig, hat etc,mask for face.
