Independence of Catalunya
Independence of Catalunya is one of the politic discussions of the country at the moment becausesome people they think that it’s wrong idea, but others we think is good because if we will have independence the economy of Catalunya should be better, nobody attempt withculture and the political would look more for the country.
In my opinion, the most important reason for which people want independence of Catalunya is the culture.Since centuries ago the political of Spain they was attempted to catalan culture, for example; Language. The catalan language has been persecuted and forbidden long time.Now don’t forbidden but always at social media and Spanish political attempt to the language, and said that it will be better if Spain has got only one language. It is thereason that a lot of Catalans think that if we will be independence these things doesn’t produce.
In the other hand, everybody knows that in Catalunya we work a lotand received little. At the same time we are pay so taxation, for example: public transport. In Madrid they paid 1,50€ and here 2€, not fair!
If we will be independentthe catalan people will work for own country and not for others.
It’s true that the independence ideology grow up when the economic crisis arrived to Catalunya becausethe Catalans doesn’t received state aid, pay so high taxation and there aren’t work. But in conclusion, I think that this ideology was long and the people now have opentheir eyes and complain of inequality between Spanish towns. At the same time, if Spain doesn’t respect the catalan people and doesn’t loves. Why remain part of it?
