GEOGRAPHY OF PANAMA
Panama is a country located in the Central America region of North America, bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the North Pacific Ocean, between Colombia and Costa Rica. Panamais located on the narrow and low Isthmus of Panama. This S-shaped isthmus is situated between 7° and 10° north latitude and 77° and 83° west longitude. Panama encompasses approximately 77,082 squarekilometers, is 772 kilometers in length, and is between 60 and 177 kilometers in width.

It is the science comprising the study of solid Earth, the rocks of which it is composed, and theprocesses by which it evolves. Geology gives insight into the history of the Earth, as it provides the primary evidence for plate tectonics, the evolutionary history of life, and past climates.GEOMORPHOLOGY
It is the scientific study of landforms and the processes that shape them. Geomorphologists seek to understand why landscapes look the way they do, to understand landform history anddynamics, and to predict future changes through a combination of field observations, physical experiments, and numerical modeling.
HYDROGRAPHY
It is the measurement of the depths, the tides andcurrents of a body of water and establishment of the sea, river or lake bed topography and morphology. Normally and historically for the purpose of charting a body of water for the safe navigation ofshipping. It includes the positioning and identification of things such as wrecks, reefs, structures (platforms etc), navigational lights, marks and buoys and coastline characteristics. It does not includewater quality or composition (see Hydrology).
