Harriet the Spy
This story talks about Harriet M. Welsch, she is a spy as she says. She likes to go and visit friends, classmates, neighbors or anyone, and she likes to write what she seesin a notebook, she only writes the truth that she can see, and almost everything is pretty rude. Once her classmates found her notebook and decided to read it, they were shocked about it and decidedto take their own revenge. Here we can see some of the characters:

Harriet M. Welsch: she is the main character asd wants to be a writer and a spy
Simon Rocque: they call him by the name “Sport”.He is one of Harriet’s best friend.
Janie Gibbs: she is also one of Harriet’s best friend. He loves science and is always doing experiments in her room.
Ole Golly: she is Harriet’s nanny and the onethat is always giving her advices. She supports the idea of Harriet to be a spy.
Dei Santi family: they are Mama, Papa, Bruno, Fabio, Maria Elena, Franca and Dino. They also own a grocery store.Harrison Withers: he is on Harriet’s spy route. He shares his life with 25 cats
Matthew Rocque: he is Sports father and the one that Harriet calls “The Starvingartist”
Agatha Plumber: she is a richwoman that never gets out of her bed.
Peter Matthews: Harriet calls him “The boy with the purple socks”. He is one of her classmates.
Cook: works for the Welsch. Harriet is always arguing with her.Harry Welsch: it’s Harriet’s father.
Mrs. Welsch: Harriet’s mother
Little Joe Curry: works for the Dei Santi. He is always eating.

Harriet Welsch is an 11 year old girl that wants to be a writerand a spy. She lives in New York with her family and Ole Golly. She has some routes that takes everyday to spy on her neighbors. For example, a man called Harrison Withers that live with 25 cats.Another example could be the Dei Santi family they are and Italian family that owns a grocery store.
