Jewish people were discriminated for no reason. In the night of November 9thand10thof 1938, the “Night of the Broken Glass” occurred. A lot of violence happened. The Nazis destroyed and burned Jewish stores, businesses, temples, synagogues and physically attacked Jews (Rosenberg).The Nuremberg laws were made on September 15, 1935, and were against the Jews. For example, it said that a Jew could not marry a German and also took away the Jew’s right to vote. Later, the Nazismade anti-Jews laws. In these laws, it said that Jews could not go to parks, theaters, etc. It fired Jews that worked in the government; did not allowed Jewish doctors to work on patients that weren’tJewish; separated the Jews from the German schools; Jews were not allowed to own any pets; they were not allowed to leave their country; they were prohibited to use the public telephones They wereforced to wear a yellow star of David on their clothes so they could be recognized (Rosenberg).
