The industrial engineering is a branch of the engineering that deals with the development, improvement, implantation and evaluation of integrated systems of people, money,knowledge, information, equipment, energy, materials and processes.
The industrial engineering uses knowledge and methods, social of the mathematical, physical sciences, etc. Of a wide and genericform, to determine, to design, to specify and to analyze the systems and to be able like that to predict and evaluate his results.
The Industrial Engineering we can do:
* To evaluate the conditions ofhygiene, safety and environment in the processes of production of products and services
* To analyze systematicly the methods of work
* To determine the needs of space, technical, human andfinancial resources to manage to optimize the services across the total quality of the products
* To realize structures of costs for the processes of production
* To design programs of preventivemaintenance for equipments and facilities of any company
* To design programs of quality control for raw material, products in process and products finished of any organization
In the manufacture, theindustrial engineers work to eliminate wastes of all the resources.
The industrial engineering includes several areas of activity, like: sciences of the administration, management of chains ofsupply, engineering of processes, investigation of operations, systems engineering, ergonomics, engineering of quality and process reengineering. It is an activity regulated in many countries, by what toexercise it there is needed a license or approval of an engineers' college.
In consequence, the formation of the Industrial Engineer must answer to the achievement of a professional who should get outof a jam itself as Engineer, as generator of companies, as administrator, as adviser - consultant, and as investigative technician – scientist
